Arvid Morrow spent his early childhood watching his mother and grandmother paint. By eight years old, he started creating clay sculptures, and soon grew into painting. By 10-years-old, he created his first painting that was a backdrop for the Boy Scouts model railroad exhibited at a the Laguna Beach Art Festival.

In high school he took a jewelry class and that was his entry into the professional art world.

Arvid has always been involved in the arts: a painter, a garden designer, a jeweler, a weaver, and a painter.

He currently is working in oil pastels. He enjoys the challenge. “When I see a beautiful garden or landscape, I like to put it down on paper.”
