I'm the youngest of seven, born and raised in Amador County. I was interested in art for as long as I can remember. You can still find my earliest work on the walls in my parents house. In high school, I discovered ceramics and enjoyed the process of transforming clay into functional pieces of art. After high school I briefly attended American River Junior College for Culinary Arts. I started working at the local recreation agency and my creativeness was put on hold. After 10 years of running recreation programs I decided to get back to creating. It started with my parents 30 year old redwood fence boards and re-purposing that wood into frames for my six siblings. Now I'm a rouge recreation employee building projects with reclaimed wood, making custom frames, shelves, tables, boxes, wall art and beyond! My goal in using reclaimed wood is to keep the character while redefining its purpose.
