Ovations Concert Series

Top-notch performers from throughout the West are presented during the winter months at the 350-seat Bret Harte Theatre in Angels Camp. Season tickets available or individually by concert by calling the Arts Council at

(209) 754-1774.  We are currently planning the 2010/2011 Season and will post the performances and ordering information as we complete our bookings.

Nutcracker Ballet
The full-length ballet will be performed by Studio 4 Dance Theater of Murphys at the Bret Harte Theatre in Angels Camp.

It's a beautiful top-quality local production directed by Tammy Lee.

Tingstad & Rumbel Trio

Ovations Performing Arts Series presents this amazing ensemble performing an elegant blend of Celtic, Spanish, Classical and American Folk. Tingstad's electro-acoutstic guitar technique harkens from a Segovian tradition. Rumbel is one of the few performers in the world on double ocarina, oboe and English horn.

Oakland Interfaith

Gospel Choir

The award winning Oakland Interfaith Gospel Choir is a multiracial, interfaith group that regularly performs throughout the bay area. It's vocalists, led by Terrance Kelly, perform traditional and contemporary black gospel music and spirituals. The choir stands for diversity, tolerance and unity and spreads the message throughout the music. The entire audience will be moved to their feet as the rousing vocal harmonies soar and raise the energy into joyous song.

Scottish Dunsmuir Dancers

The San Francisco based Dance Group perform Scottish Country, Highland, and Step Dancing. Their repertoire spans four centuries

of dance tradition. Colorful, period costumes and musical stylings

bring the past to the present.
