What is a Featured Artist at the Calaveras County Arts Council?
Featured Artists are curated professional artists who have completed our application and have been diligently reviewed by a selection committee. These artists showcase versatility, unique characteristics, and a creative eye that captivates audiences.
Why should you be a Featured Artist? How do we benefit you?
Being a featured artist offers individual publicity & recognition, reserves gallery space for your artwork, a feature in our quarterly newsletter, & offers recognition at coordinating gallery shows and receptions. Having your work displayed as a featured artist can open many opportunities as it lends credibility and prestige to the already amazing work you create.
What do Featured Artists need to provide?
Featured Artists will need to complete our online application form (physical forms available at the gallery). Once chosen, the artist will be notified, they will define their space in the gallery, and then display their work.
