Working in both fabric and paint, often in the same piece, Nancy enriches her images, whether abstract or representational, with color, texture, and frequently linear designs. Her versatility abounds in depictions of animals, trees and historic buildings. She works in water based mediums or a mixture of fabrics to enrich each piece.  She believes that “Creating art in an improvisational manner is a joyful act.”

My Sierra studio over flows with extensive collections of various paints, papers and fabric mediums which provide daily adventures using all. My art journals explode with expressions and experiments in technique and color.” Ann Nancy’s work can be seen at the Aloft Gallery in Sonora,105 S. Washington Street. Her pieces are also displayed as a member of Arts of Bear Valley during their exhibits in Big Trees State Park and in conjunction with the Music Festival in Bear Valley. Both shows are held in the summer Special recognition includes Best of Show, Best of Division, and many first awards. The Triton Museum has represented and honored her work and KVIE has awarded her donations.
