Poetry Out Loud encourages high school students to learn about great poetry through memorization, performance, and competition. It a gripping competition where you'll hear great poetry passionately recited by local high school students.

Artists Studio Tour
​Meet Artists!

Every September on the third weekend, many Calaveras county artists open their studios and galleries  to meet collectors and art lovers. It's a fun weekend with a great tour of the backroads of the Sierra foothills, with a lot of fabulous artwork and crafts for you to enjoy.

Ovations Performing Arts Series
From December through April we bring professional musicians to Calaveras County for our community to enjoy once a month. This year we are excited to host The Columbia Big Band, Juni Fisher, Folklorico Latino de Woodland, Jazz Gitan, and The Traveling Wilburys Revue. ​

Gallery Art Shows
Throughout the year we display local artists work in our gallery on Main Street, San Andreas. Each show is given a theme, that brings artist's pieces together under a united umbrella to amplify various messages.

Music in the Parks
We reserve ten Wednesdays throughout the summer for our beloved Music in the Parks concerts. These concerts are performed by local bands and musicians throughout Calaveras county. We do our best bring music to each town, so keep your eyes peeled for when we will be in your neck of the woods.
