Requirements to exhibit at the Calaveras County Arts Council Gallery
The Calaveras County Arts Council organizes thematic exhibitions to promote artistic excellence and to showcase work by members and artists throughout the Motherlode.
All 2-D artwork must be original work by the exhibiting artist, or if a print, the original work must have been created by exhibiting artist. Reference materials must belong to the artist, or the artist must have permission to use them. No workshop pieces are accepted.
Our Gallery is open Tuesday through Friday, 11am to 4pm.
Artists keep 80% of any sales; the gallery portion (20%) of the proceeds are used to help pay for administrative costs.
All artwork must be ready to hang; please use wire and D-rings (see image below for various options) when possible or appropriate. Please label all art work on the back with the name of the artist; the title of the art; contact information; and the price.
All art must be hand-delivered to the gallery. No shipped work will be accepted.
