We offer scholarships to Calaveras students planning to study visual arts, non-visual arts, and music. 

Artists in the Schools

Through a grant from the Calaveras County Office of Education, the Artists in the School program brings together local artists and art teachers for a unique, in-the-classroom learning experience in elementary schools throughout the county.

The Calaveras County Arts Council brings a  variety of arts education  to our community.

Guitars for Sale: ALL funds go toward music education!

These one-of-a-kind guitars are up for sale at the Calaveras County Arts Council Gallery, on Main St. San Andreas. Each instrument is priced at $150 or best offer and ALL funds go toward music education! We would love to see these guitars go to good homes for such a great cause!

The Calaveras County Arts Council is a private non-profit 501(c)(3) public benefit corporation.  Founded in 1981, our purpose is to coordinate excellence in the presenting and promotion of the visual and performing arts of all cultures for artists, residents and visitors.  Our staff is comprised of an executive director under the direction of a maximum 11-member volunteer Board of Directors. EIN 94-2779793
