Ruth Morrow
Ruth Morrow’s love of art began in her early childhood. When she moved to Laguna Beach, she joined the Laguna Craft Guild and Festival of art. At nineteen, she opened her first store selling seashell jewelry. She and her husband Arvid joined the Sawdust Festival where they displayed their work for thirteen years.
They moved to the Mother Lode where Ruth joined Arts of Bear Valley, Art on Main Gallery, and Copper Gallery. Her work has also appeared in the Ironstone Obsession show where her paintings won two poster contests. Her art has garnered awards in the Frog Jump Pro Art and in Sacrament Fine Arts Gallery. Her work has appeared for many years in the KVIE art auction. She is a board member of the Calaveras County Arts Council.
Artists Studio Tour presents her fans with the opportunity to visit her studio and see her creations first hand.
