Reception:
October 9
1pm - 3pm
Breast Cancer Survivors are invited to participate in healing through the Arts during the month of October for Breast Cancer Awareness.
The multi-media exhibit "Scars" opens October 9th at the Calaveras Arts Council Gallery at 23 Main Street in San Andreas. The exhibit demonstrates the reality of local breast cancer warriors who fought for their lives and now can share thier very personal experiences to inspire others. Their photographic images reflect the strength and courage beyond surgery - taking on the future with hope and grace. Sculpture by Pamela Quyle of Murphys is also featured.
Survivors are encouraged to be included in the powerful and tasteful images that will be on display at the exhibit by photographer Christine Oliver of Murphys.
